Artist Statement
I am a theatre and music maker whose practice centers care, consent, and collaborative rigor across performance and design. As a director, intimacy practitioner, and interdisciplinary artist, I am particularly drawn to queer narratives, documentary forms, and the ethical staging of intimacy, including work that engages stories of complex consent with nuance and responsibility.
Grounded in a resourceful, DIY ethos, I create work across scales and contexts, bringing experience as a performer, composer, designer, and producer. My background - including award-winning work in makeup and costume design and running a small crocheting business - informs a holistic approach to storytelling that balances creative vision with strong organizational practice and attention to the lived realities of collaborators.
I prioritize adaptable, process-driven environments where artists are supported to experiment, refine, and contribute as their full selves. By integrating consent-forward and trauma-informed frameworks with curiosity and care, I aim to build rooms where rigorous artistry and humane working conditions are mutually reinforcing.
